East Pelion Mini Boat Tour

Horse Riding

Meteora Day Trip from Volos

At the northwest edge of the Plain of Thessaly the stone giants of Meteora stand still and silent. The imposing aspect of Meteora "The Stone Forest" comes to stimulate  the religious sentiment of the visitors offering a breathtaking view.We can usually  visit 2 of the historical  Monasteries such as those  of  Agios Stefanos, Big Meteoro, Varlaam or Agios Nikolaos, depending on the day. Afterwards, we drive down to Kastraki, where we can have a meal in a traditional Greek tavern enjoying the view. The  trip continues across the Thessalian plain towards Volos (appr.3 hours).There, (according to your choice) we can also spend some time wandering around the town or having a coffee.   Price per person depends on the number of participants and there is also a minimum number of participatints in order to organise this tour.Please inquire a booking so as to advise the corresponding price.   Price includes:  Transfers by modern air-conditioned buses from Volos or Pelion to Meteora and returning back to our place. Pelion boat trip "Poseidon's Caves"

Along the Northern Pelion coast in a journey of approximately 45-50 min  by a speed boat  from Agios Ioannis we find a cluster of caves. The locals named them caves of Poseidon because according to the myth the ancient god of the sea used to live in them. We sail close to the beautiful beaches of The north side of Eastern Pelion peninsula.Our first stop is at Plaka beach and  then  the beach of Banika. We also pass from  the sandy beach of Agioi Saranta, the village of Horefto with a beach  of 2 klms length  and finally  Elitsa beach and Omvrios. We have our first stop  in the Caves of Poseidon. Apart from the caves one can see closely a ship wreck from World War II.With  our  speedboat we can enter in some of  the Caves whose interior will astonish even the most demanding or we can swim and feel the unique beauty of the place.   Price includes: Transportation with motor boats. You enjoy the sun and who knows ?You may find your own private beach!   Alternatively you can pre-book your boat along with your holidays and thus  you are offered a discount. . The Little Train of Pelion

This day trip offers the chance to experience a ride on the famous little steam train of Pelion, created and launched in 1895.  Designed by engineer Evaristo de Chirico – father of the renowned  painter Giorgio de Chirico –  has been an ambitious attempt for its high  aesthetics and its architectural harmony, parts of which are the bridges we cross along our way. The Pelion little train's whistle signals the beginning of an unforgettable experience.The ascent on the slopes of Mt.Pelion has begun,History unfolds upon a 60 cm gauge line one   one of the narrowest in the world. Via Ferrata-Canyoning

Can you think of something more exciting than climbing and swimming in one of Pelion's hidden paradises?   A via ferrata canyoning route has been designed in one of Pelion's canyons, either  for beginners  or  advanced , so give yourself the chance to admire waterfalls and naturally formed pools.   All security measures were  taken to construct 148 iron steps and handles to help participants reach the finish line of the 300m route. After a break for resting and snacking the team returns either from the Via Ferrata or with canyoning of 5 abseils, jumps, slides, flying fox and swimming in large lakes. A natural park for amazing adventures in the mountain of Pelion.
